The construction of a state-of-the-art Boys’ Hostel at Hindu College, University of Delhi, marks a significant milestone in NBCC’s commitment to sustainable development. The project, valued at approximately Rs 70 crore, will be built on a Design, Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) basis, incorporating solar power systems and green building features to achieve a minimum GRIHA 3 Star rating.

The new Boys’ Hostel will boast a built-up area of approximately 1.97 Lakh Sq.ft, featuring modern comforts and amenities, including air conditioning, laundry facilities, and a spacious dining area. The design emphasizes social interaction and exposure to nature, with double-height terraces for trees and a landscaped lawn. The project’s environmentally sustainable features include giant fountains, solar panels, and green roofs, reducing pollutants and carbon footprint while improving air quality.
