NBCC Showcases Sustainable Infrastructure Drive at Van Mahotsav 2025

New Delhi, July 4, 2025:NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, highlighted its green infrastructure capabilities during Van Mahotsav 2025, held at Bharat Mandapam on July 3–4. The event, organised by the Department of Forests & Wildlife, Government of NCT of Delhi, brought together key stakeholders to promote afforestation and climate-conscious development.

NBCC’s exhibition stall, set up in Hall No. 14, drew close to 2,000 visitors over two days. The stall was visited by Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta and Environment Minister Shri Manjinder Singh Sirsa, who were briefed on NBCC’s sustainability roadmap and its integration of plantation initiatives into infrastructure delivery.

The company’s display featured interactive models and visuals outlining its approach to eco-conscious construction—ranging from reforestation efforts to the use of low-carbon building materials. Volunteers distributed free saplings and green-themed merchandise, while a dedicated selfie zone added public engagement value.

NBCC’s participation underscored its broader goal of embedding sustainability within the urban development narrative. By aligning infrastructure with ecological priorities, the company is positioning itself as a responsible player in India’s energy-efficient growth strategy.

The event provided a platform for NBCC to demonstrate how construction can move beyond compliance to co-existence—bridging development goals with environmental stewardship.
