Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, unveiled the iconic statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at India Gate which has been installed by NBCC.
The 28 feet tall towering statue of Netaji is one of the tallest, monolithic, handmade sculptures in India. Fabrication and erection of steel structure required to roll and install the statue in the required location involved 125 Mt structural steel and 36 nos. customized rollers each weighing approx. 800 kgs. Two Cranes each of 200 Mt capacity, 5 boom lifts, 2 seizer lifts, 6 Hydras, Winch machine, Hydraulic lifts etc were mobilized.
