NBCC Honors Shramjeevis with ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign

On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day, NBCC (India) Limited marked the event with patriotic fervor at the World Trade Center in New Delhi.

The celebration was graced by Shri Srinivas Katikithala, IAS, Secretary of Housing & Urban Affairs, who hoisted the National Flag. Joined by Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman & Managing Director, along with Functional Directors, Shri Ravi Kumar Arora, IAS, and other senior officers, the event was attended by a large gathering of employees and Shramjeevis.

A symbolic plantation drive took place, accompanied by the distribution of Tricolour flags, sweets, caps, and t-shirts at the WTC, New Delhi. As part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign initiated by the Government, NBCC distributed over 21,500 National Flags to its employees and Shramjeevis across project sites and offices in India and overseas, including its subsidiaries such as HSCL, HSCC, and NSL. This endeavor underscores NBCC’s commitment to fostering pride and unity among its workforce.

During the event, the Chief Guest engaged with and honored the Shramjeevis for their invaluable contributions to NBCC’s growth and project accomplishments. Shri Katikithala commended NBCC for its pivotal role in Nation-building through its significant infrastructure, redevelopment, and housing projects nationwide. The CMD of NBCC also commended the dedication of all employees and partners, highlighting the company’s ongoing efforts in transformative infrastructure projects in alignment with the vision of Viksit Bharat.
