Mumbai, January 127, 2026: In a significant move to elevate customer service, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), a leading energy corporation in India, and Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), the premier automaker in the nation, have entered into a partnership. They announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that aims to set up Maruti Suzuki’s service stations across IndianOil’s extensive network of fuel stations nationwide.

This strategic alliance will capitalize on IndianOil’s widespread infrastructure, introducing Maruti Suzuki’s vehicle service facilities at various fuel stations. This initiative promises to provide Maruti Suzuki car owners convenient access to routine maintenance and minor repair work while they refuel their vehicles, streamlining the customer experience significantly.

IndianOil’s robust presence, with over 41,000 fuel stations, will complement the extensive service network of Maruti Suzuki, which already exceeds 5,780 service points. This integration is designed to furnish a comprehensive solution where fueling and car maintenance can occur simultaneously, greatly enhancing customer satisfaction and trust.

Mr. Saumitra P Srivastava, Director of Marketing at IndianOil, expressed the company’s dedication to augmenting customer experience through additional services at their stations. “By joining forces with Maruti Suzuki, we are not only expanding our service offerings but also bringing top-tier automotive maintenance services to our customers’ doorstep, leveraging our vast network,” he stated.Animated illustration of an igloo surrounded by snow, with a starry night sky above.

Akella further noted that this move is pivotal in merging the mobility and energy sectors, aiming to significantly enhance the overall customer service experience and ensuring vehicle owners enjoy a hassle-free journey throughout their ownership.

This partnership marks a transformative approach to how automotive services are offered in India, focusing on customer convenience, accessibility, and service excellence.
