New Delhi: The appointment process for HPCL’s CMD has taken a surprising twist. Sources reveal that two departments are locked in a “cold war” over this selection.
While there is no dearth of Kaushal (skills) in India, it remains unclear why so much effort is being made to focus on just one particular Kaushal. The gap between Karni (actions) and statements is evident, but why only Karni is being prioritized is something no one seems to understand.
Sources report that the situation has now reversed direction, described metaphorically as “the bamboo heading back to Bareilly.”
The Search-cum-Selection Committee had conducted interviews for the HPCL CMD post. However, since then, the committee seems to be in a deep slumber like Kumbhakarna. Only when it wakes up will the official announcement of HPCL’s CMD be made.
