New Delhi: Esha Srivastava, who holds the Director Identification Number 08504560, has been newly appointed as the Government Nominee Director on the Board of IndianOil, beginning her term on June 20, 2025. Her professional background and accomplishments make her a valuable addition to the Board.
Ms. Srivastava, an Indian Foreign Service Officer from the 2004 Batch, currently holds the position of Joint Secretary (International Cooperation) at the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoP&NG). Her educational qualifications include graduating from Lady Shri Ram College in New Delhi and obtaining an M.Phil Degree in Political Science from Delhi University, where she also earned the prestigious Gold Medal.
Prior to her current role, she served as the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy in Thimphu and held positions in the Ministry of External Affairs. Her international experience includes postings at the High Commission of India in Colombo, the Embassy of India in Paris, and the Permanent Delegation of India to UNESCO.
Ms. Srivastava’s expertise extends beyond IndianOil; she currently serves as a nominee Director on the Boards of ONGC Videsh Ltd. and Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Ltd. She has previously held positions as a Nominee Director on the Boards of GAIL (India) Ltd., Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd., and Bharat Petro Resources Ltd.
Her diverse experience in international cooperation and strategic leadership positions her well to contribute significantly to the Board of IndianOil. Ms. Srivastava’s appointment brings a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective to the company’s governance structure.
