New Delhi: The Bhoomi Pujan Ceremony for Phase I of the AIIMS Residential Redevelopment Scheme at West Ansari Nagar, New Delhi, recently marked a pivotal milestone in sustainable urban development. NBCC (India) Ltd is spearheading the construction of 156 Type-V residential quarters, a Rs.144 crore project designed to deliver modern, eco-friendly housing for the AIIMS community. This phase also includes 117 Type-IV special quarters, with NBCC allocating Rs.180 crore as seed capital, recoverable through project revenues, aligning with innovative public-private partnership models.
