New Delhi, 12.02.2020: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a ‘Maharatna’ Company under Ministry of Power, Government of India and the ‘Central Transmission Utility (CTU)’ of the country, signed an MoU with Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB), a nodal organization of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India on 12th February, 2020, for Contribution to Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF) with the objective of Education Grant for Children of Ex-Servicemen, Martyrs and their widows, under its CSR initiative. The MoU for Rs 15 Crore was signed by Shri V.K.Singh, Director (Personnel), POWERGRID and Brig. Mrigendra Kumar, SM, Secretary, Kendriya Sainik Board in presence of Senior officials from both the organisations.
