New Delhi, September 15, 2023 – Engineers India Limited (EIL) convened its 58th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today, taking advantage of the convenience of Video Conferencing (VC). The AGM, a significant event in the corporate calendar, was presided over by Ms. Vartika Shukla, the Chairperson and Managing Director (C&MD) of EIL. Distinguished attendees included the Government Nominee Director, Functional Directors, Independent Directors, the Nominee of the President of India, and the Company Secretary.
In her address to the shareholders, C&MD Ms Vartika Shukla provided an insightful overview of EIL’s performance and notable achievements during the fiscal year 2022-23. She also unveiled a strategic roadmap that outlines the company’s path to future growth. Ms. Shukla underscored EIL’s adaptability in responding to the ever-evolving global energy landscape. Ms. Shukla emphasized that India’s burgeoning economy and rapid urbanization are driving a surge in energy demand.
