IGL registered an overall sales volume growth of 13% over the corresponding quarter

February 6, 2020, New Delhi: Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) the supplier of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) in the National Capital Territory of Delhi and NCR towns of Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Rewari, Gurugram, Muzaffarnagar and Karnal announced its financial results for the third quarter of FY’20, while continuing its growth momentum.  

As per the unaudited Q3 results announced by the company for the quarter ending December 2019, IGL registered an overall sales volume growth of 13% over the corresponding quarter in the last fiscal, with the average daily sale going up from 5.91 mmscmd to 6.70 mmscmd. Product wise, CNG recorded sales volume growth of 9%, while PNG recorded sales volume growth of 18% in the quarter as compared to last year.The total gross sales value during the quarter has increased by 10% to Rs 1831.16 crore as compared to Rs 1661 crore during the third quarter of FY’19. The net profit for the quarter ending December 2019 including other comprehensive income for the quarter, has increased by 43% to Rs 283.59 crore in FY’20 as compared to Rs. 197.94 crore in corresponding period in the last fiscal. These are standalone results for IGL only and do not include profits accruing from associate companies.
