New Delhi:To fight against Covid 19 pandemic, the SBI Foundation and State Bank of India, New Delhi Circle today provided 20,000 face masks and 20,000 gloves for health and sanitation workers of New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). The material for battle with Corona Virus was handed over to NDMC Chairman, Shri Dharmendra for distribution among municipal personnel by Shri Vijuy Ronjan, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, Delhi Circle.
The amount spent on its expenditure was provided by the Ladies of SBI family to SBI Foundation through their self-accumulated savings. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ronjan gave details of various steps taken by SBI in this challenging time and committed to provide further support to the personnel’s of the Council. Shri Dharmendra, Chairman, New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) thanked for the cooperation made by the Bank.
