‘Sabki Rasoi’- an Initiative of I-PAC, started to serve freshly cooked meals to migrant labourers, daily-wage earners and homeless, has been successful in Delhi and throughout the country. The Initiative which was Kicked-Off on 5th April, had delivered around 5.2 Lakh meals across 26 cities in the country till date.
Around 25,000 meals have been delivered till yesterday in Delhi though this Virtual Kitchen that was started to serve the people at the bottom of the pyramid. Around 3700 meals are expected to be delivered today by 4 grassroots feeding partners in the areas of Vasant Kunj, Old Mustafabad, ITO Metro Station, New Seemapuri, Baby Nagar in Delhi.
The first phase aims to provide at least 15 lakh freshly cooked meals (1.5 lakh per day) up to 14th April, to the people who are in urgent need of food for their survival during the COVID-19 pandemic.
