THDC India Limited achieved another significant milestone with the completion of Unit-5 Vertical Penstock ferrule erection and concreting (106.8m, El+ 586 To El+ 692.8) of 1000MW Tehri Variable speed Pumped Storage Plant (PSP) on 18 April at 16:00Hrs.
Achievement of this remarkable milestone has brought THDCIL one step closer towards the commissioning of the Nation’s first variable speed Pumped Storage Plant(4X250 MW).
On this auspicious occasion Sh. L.P Joshi, Executive Director ( Tehri Complex 2400MW),Sh A.R Gairola,AGM(CM-PSP), Sh. Mallikarjun K, AGM (EM-HM PSP),Dr A. N. Tripathy,AGM(HR&A,CC),Sh. S. K. Sahoo, AGM(EM & HM-PSP),Sh. Sandeep Sharma, Site Head(M/s GEPIL), N.V.V.S.N. Murthy,GM (Site Head,M/s PES) and other senior officials of THDCIL ,M/s GEPIL & M/s PES were also present.
