In a significant development at the Ratle HE Project (J&K), the successful diversion of Chenab River through Diversion Tunnels at Drabshalla on 27.01.2024 at 11:30 AM marks a crucial milestone.
This achievement, inaugurated by Shri R.K. Vishnoi, CMD NHPC, and witnessed by Shri H. Rajesh Prasad, Principal Secretary (PDD) GoJK, among others, will expedite construction activities and minimize delays towards the scheduled commissioning date of May 2026.
The Ratle Project, executed by Ratle Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited (RHPCL), a joint venture of NHPC Limited and GoJK, holds a 51:49 percent share, respectively.
