A massive scale of cyber frauds has targeted the employees, both retired and serving, of ONGC leading to sheer panic among the ONGCians as far as online transactions or communications are concerned.
Even At least two Directors have numbers that were either hacked or masqueraded to send fake WhatsApp messages to their juniors.
Why frauds of such a scale have been perpetrated, almost across India with employee data in hand is a question that remains to be answered.
