NHPC’s CMD, Shri R.K. Vishnoi, led a delegation including Director (Finance) Shri R. P. Goyal and Director (Technical and Projects) Shri R.K. Chaudhary on a visit to the Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project.
During the visit on January 24 and 25, 2024, the team inspected crucial under-construction sites, receiving updates from Executive Director Shri Rajendra Prasad.
CMD Vishnoi lauded the progress made on the ambitious 8 x 250 MW Subansiri project, emphasizing the nation’s commitment to its timely completion. In a subsequent project review meeting, CMD Vishnoi chaired discussions with major contractors, addressing construction challenges to ensure timely commissioning.
The meeting included key stakeholders such as Director (Finance), Director (Projects), and Executive Directors from the Corporate Office, alongside Subansiri Project’s Executive Director Shri Rajendra Prasad and department heads.
Expressing satisfaction with the ongoing work, CMD Vishnoi urged swift project completion. This engagement signifies NHPC’s dedication to the Subansiri project’s success and its collaboration with all stakeholders for seamless progress.
