NBCC Chief Applauds Team Amid Pandemic Challenges

In a recent interview with NewsIP.in, Mr. K. P. Mahadevaswamy, the CMD of NBCC (India) Limited, emphasized that the successful realization of the aspirations of thousands of homeowners in the Amrapali project underscores the relentless dedication and resilience exhibited by the entire NBCC team, even amid the formidable challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The sincerity and personal efforts of Shri R. Venkataramani, Ld. Court Receiver and Attorney General for India and ASPIRE team towards solving problems of the homebuyers is monumental and deserves appreciation
Further, NBCC is pioneering the work of redevelopment of many areas of the national capital. The uniqueness of this project has been that there is no liability on the part of public exchequer.
The funds for the redevelopment regarding 7 GPRA colonies is being generated by NBCC through the sale of commercial space at Nauroji Nagar and Sarojini Nagar.

NBCC is re-developing Nauroji Nagar, Sarojini Nagar and Netaji Nagar while CPWD is executing the other four colonies, ie Kasturba Nagar, Thyagraj Nagar, Srinivaspuri and Mohammadpur.

These four projects executed by CPWD is also being funded through the funds generated by NBCC through sale of commercial space of the colonies allotted to NBCC for redevelopment.
