IndianOil Unleashes ‘STORM’ – A Power-Packed Fuel for FIM Asia Road Racing Championship 2024
New Delhi, February 24, 2024 In a groundbreaking move towards self-reliance and global excellence, Mr. Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Housing and Urban Affairs, virtually inaugurated ‘STORM,’ a bespoke racing fuel developed by IndianOil for the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) 2024 season. The high-octane Ultimate Racing Fuel, manufactured at the Gujarat refinery, is tailored for premium superbikes in the racing circuit and aims to position itself as the fuel of choice for champions globally.
Present at the virtual flag-off ceremony were Mr. Pankaj Jain, Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas; Mr. Shrikant Madhav Vaidya, Chairman; and Mr. V Satish Kumar, Director (Marketing), IndianOil. Mr. Puri highlighted the significance of this endeavor, marking IndianOil’s foray into category 2 race fuel production, aligned with international standards.
Mr. Jain praised IndianOil’s prowess in developing niche products, emphasizing its status as a world-class company meeting evolving customer demands. Mr. S M Vaidya, Chairman of IndianOil, spoke proudly of ‘STORM,’ emphasizing its role in India’s journey towards technological self-sufficiency.
