Mumbai, 8th December 2023:In a collaborative effort to bolster electric vehicle ev-charging-strategic-partnership accessibility, an Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) has been formalized between Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited (TPEM). Announced on the 8th of December 2023, the MOU will leverage BPCL’s expansive fuel station network and TPEM’s insights from Tata EVs to establish 7,000 chargers at locations frequented by Tata EV owners. Notably, insights on charger usage will be actively collected by BPCL to enhance the overall customer experience.

The strategic partnership between TPEM and BPCL aims to elevate the overall experience for Tata EV owners while exploring the potential introduction of a user-friendly payment system through a co-branded RFID card.
