UNION MINISTER VISITS TEHRI POWER COMPLEX

TEHRI, UTTARAKHAND – July 15, 2024 Union Minister for Power and Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs, Sh. Manohar Lal, inspected the ongoing works at the 2400 MW Tehri Power Complex in Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, yesterday. Accompanied by a distinguished delegation, the Minister reviewed the progress of the flagship project under THDC India Limited.

Sh. Manohar Lal congratulated the THDC team for their dedication and hard work, acknowledging their significant achievements in developing the 2400 MW Tehri Power Complex. He highlighted the project’s contribution to the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision for a Viksit Bharat by 2047.

The Minister praised the development of the Tehri Dam, calling it “a remarkable milestone” and “an engineering marvel”. He urged the team to maintain their momentum and focus on timely completion of the remaining project phases.
