The unwavering commitment of SCOPE lies in championing innovation, fostering collaboration, and setting new benchmarks for Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs) in a rapidly evolving global landscape,” said Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Chairman, SCOPE and CMD, GAIL, while addressing the 50th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE). Held with resounding participation from CMDs, Directors, and senior officials, the AGM marked a significant milestone in the organization’s journey of 50 years.
The discussions highlighted SCOPE’s dynamic role in policy advocacy, capacity building, and fostering strategic collaborations to drive impactful changes in the public sector. A key highlight was the inauguration of the SCOPE Social Interaction Centre (SSIC), a pioneering step to unify the visions of PSEs in advancing India’s economic and social progress. The AGM also underscored the apex body’s future strategy to strengthen its core operations and broaden its scope to address emerging global and national challenges.
By actively engaging with global platforms such as the ILO, IOE, and OECD, and contributing to pivotal national forums like EPFO, ESIC, and DTNBWED, SCOPE has reinforced its position as a catalyst for benchmarking PSEs on an international scale. Deliberations also spotlighted critical issues such as climate change, leadership development, and fostering innovative solutions to future-proof India’s public sector enterprises.
The AGM, attended by notable leaders such as Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta and Shri Atul Sobti, Director General of SCOPE, celebrated the collective efforts of the PSE fraternity while charting a progressive roadmap for the years ahead. As SCOPE looks to the future, it remains steadfast in its mission to drive excellence, innovation, and impactful change across the public sector landscape.
