New Delhi : On the eve of International Women’s Day on 8th March 2021, State Bank of India, Financial Inclusion & Micro Market (FI & MM), Corporate Centre, NBCC Place, Lodhi Road, New Delhi organised a programme to commemorate the achievements of women in various fields of life. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sanjeev Nautiyal, Deputy Managing Director said that women are playing a pivotal role in the overall development of the society. He further emphasised that leadership and managerial capabilities of women are visible in all spheres.
Four women guest speakers from different fields of life, serving for betterment of the society, shared their success stories and views for inspiration and motivation of the staff. Painting and Rangoli Competitions were also organised for the staff and their family members before the event. Prizes were distributed to the event winners during the programme. The event concluded with a talk on women’s Health issues by Dr. Achala Batra, Sr. Consultant & Gynaecologist, Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.
