New Delhi: To create greater awareness towards all-around cleanliness and green environment among staff, customers and public, SBI, Delhi Circle undertook many activities during the pakhwada. A tree plantation drive was conducted across the Circle, in MCD Primary School, Kalkaji, New Delhi, 100 saplings of fruits and shady trees were planted by SBI staff, teachers and students. Shram Daan was organised by SBI staff, local people and Ashray Adhikar Abhiyan NGO at the community park, Roshanara, Delhi and cleaned the park and surrounding area. A competition of cleanest branch and cleanest ATM was conducted by SBI Delhi Circle. Wards of bank’s staff participated in drawing competition on the topic of Green Environment and Swachhata. Sh. Vijuy Ronjan, Chief General Manager, Delhi Circle administered the Swachhta pledge to all the staff and addressed the staff for ensuring all-around cleanliness and contribution to a green environment by planting tree and eradication of single-use plastic.
