SBI organized Loan facilitation function at Mathura
Conducted CSR Activity at old age home, Chhatikara, Vrindavan.
MATHURA : State Bank of India, in the auspicious presence of Smt. Hema Malini, Hon’ble MP from Mathura and Shri Vijuy Ronjan, Chief General Manager, New Delhi Circle, organized a Loan Facilitation Function at ‘Tourist Facilitation Centre’ Vrindavan, Mathura for Women Self Help Groups (SHGs) and various other beneficiaries with a special focus on women empowerment. On the occasion, Hon’ble Member of Parliament & Shri Ronjan handed loan sanction letters to Women Self Help Groups and provided PM SVANidhi and KCC dairy loans to various beneficiaries in line with the Government’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Sh. Ronjan also highlighted exemplary work being done by SBI under PMJDY, PMSBY and Atal Pension Yojna. Shri Ronjan also motivated the borrowers to be self-dependent and generate more employment opportunities for others by availing of various services offered by the Bank. Sh. Sarvesh Gupta, DDM, NABARD and Sh. Dhurendra Kumar, Deputy agriculture Director, also explained their various schemes. Smt. Hema Malini, Hon’ble MP thanked SBI for their immense support to all the sections of society.
Shri Vijuy Ronjan, Chief General Manager, SBI, New Delhi under Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility donated one Generator Set, one Water Cooler, Medical Equipment and Footwears to ‘Guild for Service’, a Charitable Trust who runs an old age home for women known as ‘Maa Dham’ at Chhatikara, Vrindavan, Mathura (UP) for the use of inmates staying in this shelter home.
On the occasion, Shri Ronjan, reiterated the Bank’s commitment towards social cause and said that Bank gives back some of its profit to society in the form of CSR donations. Deputy General Managers Shri Rajiv Ranjan, Shri Anil Tak, DGM, Shri Debashish Mitra and other senior officials of the Bank were also present in the function. Shri Ronjan handed over donation cheque of Rs. 2.36 Lacs under Corporate Social responsibility to Dr. V Mohini Giri, President, ‘Guild for Service’’ at Chhatikara, Vrindavan, Mathura, UP in a small gathering. Dr. Giri thanked SBI for this benevolent gesture by this donation.
