SBI donated an Ambulance to “The Earth Saviours Foundation’”

a Gurguram based NGO for their shelter home of Abandoned Senior Citizens, Mentally Disabled, Bedridden patients and patients on death bed.

New Delhi:  State Bank of India under Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility donated Ambulance to a NGO, ‘The Earth Saviours Foundation’, Village Bandhwari, Gurugram.  The NGO runs a shelter home (Gurukul) in a 1.5 acre of land at Village Bandhwari on Gurugram – Faridabad road for 500 abandoned both male and female senior citizens, deprived, mentally disabled, bedridden, patients on death bed, people dying with hunger on roads or patients suffering from incurable diseases. They are maintaining a staff of 150 persons to look after the welfare of their inmates. On the occasion, Shri Dinesh Khara reiterated the Bank’s commitment towards social cause. Shri Vijuy Ronjan, Chief General Manager, New Delhi Circle and other senior officials of the Bank were also present in the function.

The Bank’s Chairman Shri Dinesh Khara and Shri Vijuy Ronjan, Chief General Manager, New Delhi Circle handed over keys of the Ambulance to the NGO’s Founder, Shri Ravi Kalra in a small gathering at Bank’s Local Head Office, Sansad Marg, New Delhi and thereafter alongwith Shri Sanjeev Nautiyal, DMD (F I & MM) flagged off the Ambulance.
