SBI, Delhi Donates Rs. 2 crore for Communal Harmony (NFCH)

SBI initiates CSR activities in New Delhi and NCR Donates Rs. 2 crore to the National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH) Donates Ambulance to the Civil Hospital in Gurugram

New Delhi: In its constant endeavour to contribute towards societal welfare, State Bank of India (SBI) initiated multiple CSR activities in New Delhi and NCR. Shri Dinesh Khara, Chairman, SBI, presented a cheque of Rs. 2 crore to Shri Manoj Pant, Secretary of National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH) in the presence of Shri Amitava Chatterjee, CGM Delhi Circle and Shri S.C. Joinwal, CGM GBU.
The officials of SBI also handed over keys of an Ambulance to Shri Gaurav Singh, Regional Head and Additional CEO of Haryana State CSR Trust, at the SBI’s Local Head Office (LHO) in New Delhi and thereafter, flagged off the Ambulance.
Shri Dinesh Khara, Chairman SBI in his address reiterated the Bank’s commitment towards Society and Social cause. He said, “SBI is committed in giving back to the society through various CSR initiatives”.

Shri Abhay Singh, General Manager (Network-II), Delhi Circle, Dr. Indrajit Mazumdar, Joint Secretary and Shri Sourabh Dubey, Asstt. Secretary, NFCH along with other senior officials of SBI were also present during these CSR activities.
National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH) is an Autonomous Organization with Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. NFCH under its flagship scheme “Project Assist” provides financial assistance to children rendered orphan or destitute in communal, castes, ethnic or terrorist violence for their rehabilitation and education.
The Civil Hospital, Gurugram is a secondary care 200 bed Hospital serving around 25 lacs people residing in and around geographical area of Gurugram.  It provides treatment using latest techniques in patient care, diagnostics and clinical paraphernalia.
