E-Inauguration of 74 New CSP Outlets on 74th Anniversary of Independence

New Delhi : On the occasion of 74th Independence Day, State Bank of India, New Delhi Circle has opened 74 new CSP Outlets- Customer Service Centre with the objective of increasing the bank’s reach to every last person (Antyodaya) and hence increasing the scope of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana and banking coverage.

The 74 CSP outlets were inaugurated by Shri Vijuy Ronjan, Chief General Manager (CGM), through a virtual meeting. Newly opened CSPs outlets consists of 21 outlets in Uttarakhand, 20 in Western UP and 33 in Delhi NCR. These centres will be providing Banking facilities with special focus on opening of new accounts, passbook printing, remittance and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana and Atal pension Yojana along with cash deposits and withdrawals.

With the opening of these 74 new centres, there will be more than 4000 (SBI’s Pan India 63000+) CSP outlet in the New Delhi Circle. Banking facility will be readily available to residents of remote and inaccessible areas and will also facilitate employment generation.  

During the e-inauguration, Shri Ronjan, apprised the CSPs of their greater responsibility of extending the benefits of SBI’s kiosk banking, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana and social security scheme to the common man and appreciated the services provided by the bank’s CSPs during the COVID-19 pandemic. Shri Ronjan also interacted with some of the CSP personnel. 

Speaking on the occasion, General Manager Shri Sriram Iyer highlighted the appreciable  work done by bank Mitra-customer service centres in providing  banking facility, Rupay card as well as social security scheme, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana (PMJJY) and Atal Pension Yojana to every Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana account holder
