The award ceremony, held in Hyderabad during the 6th edition of the ASSOCHAM CSR and Sustainability Conference and Awards, saw REC Limited being recognized for its ‘Excellence in Providing Support to Healthcare’.

Accepting the prestigious award on behalf of REC Limited was Shri Anjan Lahiri, Senior GM and Head of Department at REC Foundation, the organization’s dedicated CSR arm. The award was bestowed by the Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, Shri Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, further highlighting the significance of REC’s contributions to healthcare.

This recent recognition adds to REC’s growing list of accolades in the CSR domain. In the previous year, the organization was honored by ASSOCHAM for its exceptional CSR efforts in Aspirational Districts, with a particular focus on initiatives benefiting Divyangjan. Moreover, REC’s commitment to CSR has been acknowledged on a broader scale, with the organization securing the 4th position for CSR Contribution among all Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) in India, as per the Public Enterprise Survey Report 2023-24 released by the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE).
