Gurugram: Breaking Ground, RHPCL Inks 40-Year Power Deal with Rajasthan Urja Vikas! In a momentous event on January 3, 2024, a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) was officially sealed in Jaipur. Ratle Hydro Electric Power Corporation Limited (RHPCL), a collaborative effort of NHPC Limited and JKSPDC, joined forces with Rajasthan Urja Vikas and IT Services Limited.
The agreement secures the off-take of power from the formidable 850 MW Ratle Hydroelectric Project in Kishtwar, UT of J&K. The 40-year deal, initiated from the project’s COD, awaits power allocation notification from the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India. The signing ceremony, graced by senior officers of RHPCL and Rajasthan Urja Vikas, marks a significant leap in bolstering power initiatives.
