New Delhi : On the basis of press release issued by Aam Aadmi Party MLA Ms Atishi alleged that the the misuse and coercion of central agencies like CBI-ED by the BJP, on Sunday. Condemning the whole false narrative of a Look Out Circular against Deputy Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia, she said, “PMO ordered a story plant in the media saying CBI has issued a Look Out Circular against Dy CM Shri Manish Sisodia, they had to step back into their dens after seeing the uproar of the public and say that no such notice is being issued. This gimmick of getting PMO to plant different narratives is an attempt to divert attention from the failed CBI raid, even after 14 hours of raid, the CBI did not find anything at Dy CM Shri Manish Sisodia’s house. Different stories are being planted about CBI investigation by BJP spokespersons, because they have been ridiculed in front of the whole country. CBI-ED are famous for making rangolis out of cash after raids, why aren’t they revealing how much cash & gold was found at Dy CM Shri Manish Sisodia’s house? BJP people were getting scripts everyday making them claim that scams worth 8,000 crores, 2,000 crores & 144 crores had happened, but the CBI itself rejected the claims in front of the Modi Government. The CBI has only alleged that there ‘may have been a Rs 1 crore transaction between two private parties as per sources’, they too have no proof.”
AAP Senior Leader and MLA Ms Atishi started off with her rebuttal to the press conference held by BJP MP Parvesh Verma. She called his attempt at crafting a false narrative against the AAP to be a total failure and said he was only beating around the bush because he had nothing to speak about. “I had expected Parvesh Verma to have some real substance in his presser. But his press conference went on for over half an hour with him beating around the bush throughout. He was narrating very entertaining stories about hotels and restaurants with Manjinder Sirsa by his side but he never came to the point. Parvesh Verma had no evidence to show, no paper to talk of. This is why I always tell him to leave this field and become a Bollywood script writer. No one knows how to make such entertaining stories without any reference or substance as he does. I often think of the ridicule Parvesh Verma has to face because of his party seniors. After all, he’s the son of the former Chief Minister late Sahib Singh Verma and himself a senior MP. But the BJP has reduced him to a punching bag. Why has BJP made a joke out of him? Why is the BJP sending him in front of the media to ridicule himself when he has nothing in substance.
