Hanumangarh, May 28, 2025: In a landmark achievement, Oil India Limited (OIL), the Government of India’s Maharatna CPSE, has clinched a major win by securing the Jorkian-Satipura-Khunja Amalgamated Potash and Halite Block in Rajasthan’s Hanumangarh district.
The coveted composite license was granted to OIL, named the Preferred Bidder in the fifth auction round organized by the Ministry of Mines, Government of India.
This historic auction, the first of its kind for Potash blocks in India, has been hailed as a game-changer, paving the way for tapping into the country’s untapped Potash reserves.
