New Delhi : NewsIP wants to remind its esteemed readers and well wishers that when there were discussions on various media that the position of Director R&D IOCL is redundant we at NewsIP had given its views opposing the same.
We could make out that Corporate Politics was behind the canard. There were even active moves to give extension to the incumbent who was then holding the position.
NewsIP brought out the world trends on R&D and the absolute necessity to continue with the position of Dir R&D in IOCL albeit with a new and more effective leader.
The article brought out by NewsIP was extensively read and much discussed. Our view stands vindicated today. Govt. of India has confirmed the need to continue the position and appointed Shri Alok Sharma to the position of D R&D in IOCL.
