This dedication was evident during the grand inauguration of several transformative infrastructure projects in New Delhi, which were officiated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The occasion marked the unveiling of the World Trade Center (WTC) at Nauroji Nagar, the GPRA Type-II Quarters at Sarojini Nagar, and the newly constructed CBSE Headquarters at Dwarka, all executed by NBCC under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
The event was graced by several distinguished leaders, including Shri Manohar Lal, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs and Power; Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister for Education; Shri Tokhan Sahu, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs; Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, Minister of State for Education and Development of Northeast Regional Development; Shri Harsh Malhotra, Union Minister of State for Corporate Affairs and Road Transport and Highways; and Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena, Lt. The World Trade Center at Nauroji Nagar is a landmark project that exemplifies modern commercial infrastructure. Spanning 25 acres, the WTC comprises 12 state-of-the-art towers, offering 34 lakh square feet of premium office space. Designed with cutting-edge amenities and eco-friendly technologies, the project is set to become a cornerstone of New Delhi’s commercial future. The full sale of office space, valued at ₹13,400 Crore, highlights the strong demand for world-class business environments in the capital.
Similarly, the GPRA Type-II Quarters at Sarojini Nagar represent a model of sustainable urban living. With 2,526 modern residential units, this project integrates green technologies such as rainwater harvesting, solar-powered waste compactors, and energy-efficient systems. The project is a testament to NBCC’s commitment to creating livable, eco-conscious communities for India’s growing urban population.
Additionally, the new CBSE Headquarters in Dwarka, built at an investment of ₹300 Crore, stands as a symbol of modernity and excellence in education. This eco-friendly campus, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, is set to become a catalyst for the growth and modernization of India’s education sector.
In total, the successful execution of these projects has generated 45 lakh man-days of employment, reflecting NBCC’s significant contribution to both economic growth and job creation in the country. The revenue generated from the WTC’s commercial space sales has also been utilized to fund the redevelopment of GPRA colonies, further strengthening NBCC’s role in the nation’s sustainable development journey.
