NBCC Honours Students of Blind Relief Association, Delhi on International Day of Persons with Disabilities
New Delhi: On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of NBCC, lauded the efforts of The Blind Relief Association, Delhi, for its exceptional role in empowering *divyangjan* (persons with disabilities). He encouraged the institution to persist in its mission of providing education, skill development, and brighter futures for students.
The event, attended by senior officials of NBCC, was organized to celebrate the resilience and accomplishments of the visually impaired community. As part of the celebrations, CMD NBCC distributed essential items, including Braille books, t-shirts, mugs, sweets, notebooks, and pens, to students and staff. The thoughtful initiative aimed to support the educational journey and personal growth of the beneficiaries.
Shri Mahadevaswamy also toured the campus facilities, accompanied by senior NBCC officers, to assess the infrastructure and explore further avenues for collaboration. The visit reinforced NBCC’s dedication to fostering inclusivity and accessibility, aligning with its commitment to corporate social responsibility.
