NBCC Dominates Government Infrastructure: Lands ₹296.53 Crore MDA Contract

June 23, 2025 | New Delhi: In a strong show of its continued dominance in the government infrastructure space, NBCC (India) Limited has secured a hefty re-development contract valued at approximately ₹296.53 crore (excluding GST) from the Meerut Development Authority (MDA) in Uttar Pradesh.

The awarded project, titled “Re-Development Projects of Meerut Development Authority”, underscores the trust placed in NBCC’s proven capabilities in large-scale public works and urban renewal. The project will see NBCC deploy its expertise in project management consultancy to reshape key areas under MDA’s jurisdiction—bolstering both the region’s infrastructure and NBCC’s own execution portfolio.

The official work order has been received, as confirmed by NBCC’s Company Secretary, Deepti Gambhir, marking another milestone in the company’s growing list of high-value public sector wins. Notably, this development comes amid NBCC’s strategic push to deepen its presence across Tier-II cities with ambitious urban transformation initiatives.

While this contract falls under the firm’s regular business scope, its scale and visibility are expected to have a meaningful impact on the company’s operational momentum in the months ahead.
