Sh. Nand Lal Sharma also noted that the NMHEP, classified as a Run of the River project, features two generating units, each with a capacity of 30 MW, contributing to an annual electricity generation of 265.5 million units. SJVN’s commitment to the region includes the construction of a 37 km 220 KV Transmission Line for power evacuation from Naitwar Mori HEP, extending from Bainol to Snail. Following the commissioning of the project, Uttarakhand will receive 12% of the generated electricity as royalty, and Project Affected Families will be granted an amount equivalent to the cost of 100 units of electricity per month for ten years, thereby fostering overall development and employment opportunities in the region. SJVN, as a leading Power CPSU, remains dedicated to advancing the energy goals of the Government of India, aligning with its mission for sustainable progress. More Related to SJVN News
