Madhya Pradesh is set to captivate more tourists with the launch of “PM Shri Paryatan Vayu Seva,” the country’s first intra-state air service. Inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, this initiative aims to enhance accessibility and improve travel experiences. The booking system commenced with the unveiling of the website www.flyola.in.

Dubbed the “Heart of Incredible India,” Madhya Pradesh has witnessed a significant increase in tourist arrivals, tripling from 34.1 million in 2022 to 112.1 million in 2023. The state offers diverse experiences, catering to interests ranging from adventure and history to culture and spirituality. This new air service connects eight cities: Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Rewa, Ujjain, Gwalior, Singrauli, and Khajuraho, providing seamless travel options for both domestic and international visitors.

Dr. Yadav, while flagging off the inaugural flight from Bhopal to Jabalpur via Rewa and Singrauli, emphasized the service’s role in boosting tourism and hospitality. The air service, starting with two 6-seat aircraft, also aims to connect Omkareshwar and Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlingas for convenient darshan.

Minister Shri Dharmendra Singh Lodhi highlighted this milestone as a significant step towards making Madhya Pradesh a safe and accessible tourism destination. Principal Secretary Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla noted the continuous efforts to innovate and expand tourism facilities under Dr. Yadav’s guidance, predicting that this service will be a landmark for the state’s tourism sector. Booking counters are available at Indore, Bhopal, and Jabalpur airports.
