Gurugram: 20, Dec.2023. Three awards were conferred to REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Power, by the Indian Chamber of Commerce during the XIII PSE Excellence Awards.
The awards included winners in the CSR & Sustainability and runners-up in Operational Performance Excellence and Corporate Governance categories. The Maharatnas and Navaratnas category was the one under which REC bagged these awards. Shri Ajoy Choudhury, Director (Finance), Smt. Taruna Gupta ED (CSR) and Shri Saurabh Rastogi, CGM (BDM) were the award recipients.

The Indian Chamber of Commerce has instituted the PSE Excellence Awards to recognize excellence in public sector undertakings. A detailed evaluation by an independent jury through a rigorous and transparent process was the basis on which the award was conferred to the company.
