IGL PREPARED TO MEET ANY ADDITIONAL CNG DEMAND IN GURUGRAM
All CNG stations of IGL in Gurugram are operational 24x7

Gurugram,: Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), the largest CNG distribution company of the country, has conveyed its preparedness to meet any additional CNG demand in the district of Gurugram in Haryana through its network of 15 CNG stations in the district.
Announcing the same, Shri Pawan Kumar, Director (Commercial), IGL informed that all the 15 CNG stations of IGL operating in the district of Gurugram are operational round the clock, 24×7. Reacting to some news reports in a section of media regarding shortage of CNG in Gurugram, Mr Kumar informed that IGL is currently selling over 1 lakh kg of CNG per day in Gurugram and its current installed capacity is enough to cater to additional 50% demand of CNG in the city.
Disclosing the future expansion plans of IGL in the city, Mr Kumar added that IGL is aggressively working towards augmenting its CNG fuelling infrastructure in Gurugarm. 5 more CNG stations are being set up in Gurugram, which shall take the number of CNG stations in the district to 20. In addition, the compression capacity at the existing CNG stations is being enhanced to cater to the increasing demand of CNG in Gurugram. Referring to cost economics, Mr Kumar also informed that inspite of being available round the clock at any hour in the day, the current CNG retail price of IGL is cheaper as compared to alternates available in Gurugram.
