EXEMPLARY LEADERSHIP AWARDS GOES TO AMIT GARG IGL Director (Comm.) also bags Leading Director Award

New Delhi, August 31, 2021: Shri Amit Garg, Director (Commercial) of Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), India’s largest CNG distribution company, has been awarded for his leadership role by two leading organisations over the last weekend. Mr. Garg was awarded with Exemplary Leader Award during the 7th Edition of National Awards for Corporate Excellence organized at Mumbai. On the same day, he was also bestowed with the Leading Director award during a conclave organized at Srinagar by Greentech Foundation.

These awards recognize the role of leaders innovative and forward thinking organizations that have been actively involved in overall impactful growth, excellence and innovation by applying the highest standards as a matter of practice & policy. Organisations from public as well as private sector were among the awardees at these functions.A veteran of over 34 years in Oil and Gas sector, Mr. Amit Garg has been recognized for his dynamic & inspiring leadership in making IGL the torchbearer for the entire City Gas Distribution Industry in the country. During his stint of over 2 years with IGL, he has ensured lakhs of people join the green drive of IGL by adopting the Environment friendly Natural Gas in their lives. Mr. Garg led the highly motivated Team IGL in setting up several new milestones for in the country such as India’s first long range CNG bus running on Type IV composite cylinders, setting up India’s first Hydrogen blended CNG plant & dispensing station and India’s first mobile CNG refueling unit.
