IGL DECLARE FINANCIAL RESULT QTR 4

New Delhi May 24, 2019: Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) the supplier of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) in the National Capital Territory of Delhi and NCR towns of Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Rewari, Gurugram, Muzaffarnagar and Karnal today announced its Q4 results and audited financial results for 2018-19.In Q4 of 2018-19, the company’s net profit for the quarter increased from Rs. 175.33 crores in corresponding period last year to Rs 224.72 crore in FY’19 showing an increase of 28%. During this period, IGL registered a turnover of Rs. 1694 crore as compared to Rs. 1347 crore in the corresponding period last year thereby showing a growth of 28%. There has been an overall sales volume growth of 17% over the corresponding quarter in the last fiscal, with CNG sales volume growing by 15% and PNG sales volume growing by 20%.The company’s gross turnover has grown to Rs. 6337 crores in FY 19 from Rs. 4994 crores in FY 18 showing an increase of 27%. The net profit in FY 19 has shown a growth of 17% from Rs 671 crores in FY 18 to Rs. 786 crores in FY 19, driven by higher volumes. During 2018-19, total sales volume grew by 14% over the previous year with CNG recording 13% growth in volumes and PNG recording volume growth of 15%. The average daily gas sale during the year has gone up to 5.91 mmscmd from 5.18 mmscmd in the previous year. The board has recommended a final dividend of 120% for consideration of the members in Annual General Meeting.After consolidating the financial results of two associate companies, CUGL & MNGL, the consolidated net profit after tax of the company comes to Rs 841 crores against consolidated profit of Rs 721 crores in the previous year.
