IGL and BHEL join hands to take forward the National Hydrogen Mission

New Delhi,: Indraprastha Gas Ltd. (IGL) and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) have signed an MoU for Joint collaboration for the development, manufacturing & deployment of Type-IV Cylinders (CNG &/or Hydrogen), Hydrogen blending in city gas distribution (CGD) and Fuel cell based power backup system. This MoU will pave the way for collaboration in Hydrogen Value Chain, contributing to the Government of India’s ‘National Hydrogen Mission’, making India ‘Atmanirbhar’.

Sh. Sanjeev Kumar Bhatia, VP (BD & Gas Sourcing- IGL) and Sh. S. Prabhakar, GM & Head (Marketing-BHEL) signed the MOU in the presence of Dr. Nalin Shinghal, CMD-BHEL, Sh. Pawan Kumar, Director(Commercial-IGL), Sh. Upinder Singh Matharu, Director (Power & HR – BHEL), Sh. Jai Prakash Srivastava, Director (E, R&D – BHEL), and other senior officials of BHEL and IGL.
