NEW DELHI/HIMACHAL :After announcing the AAP’s electoral guarantee for education in Himachal Pradesh last week, the Aam Aadmi Party announced second guarantee of health for the people of Himachal. AAP Senior Leader and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia alongwith Punjab CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann visited Una, Himachal Pradesh to announce the guarantee on Thursday.
The five guarantees chalked out by Arvind Kejriwal for Himachal include — Free world-class medical treatment for people of Himachal Pradesh; Free medicines, operation and medical tests facility; Mohalla Clinic in all villages and wards of Himachal Pradesh; Makeover and upgradation of all government hospitals in Himachal Pradesh; Delhi’s Farishtay Scheme to facilitate timely treatment to accident victims in HP
Apart from this, both the AAP leaders also announced a guarantee for people in armed forces, paramilitary forces and HP Police. Under this guarantee, the government will provide the monetary support of Rs 1 crore to the family of people in armed forces, paramilitary forces and HP Police, if they get martyred while being on duty. Shri Manish Sisodia said, “In the past 7 years, under the leadership of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi, we have done the work of providing excellent healthcare services to the people for free. In Punjab too the government under CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann is doing this and in Himachal too people will get the same world-class health services, if they choose the AAP government.”
Shri Sisodia said that political parties make false promises during the elections but Shri Arvind Kejriwal is the only person who gives guarantees on the basis of successful works and policies already implemented by his party’s government in the other states. He says that people must vote, after assessing the work already done by the party not on the basis of speeches. Only CM Arvind Kejriwal has the courage to say this. He said that any person from Himachal can ask his friends or relatives from Delhi or Punjab whether the Aam Aadmi Party has worked there or not and if the answer is ‘No’ then they should not vote for the party but the answer is ‘Yes’ then they must vote for the AAP.
