New Delhi : It’s stranger to hear, But it’s bitter truth, The Aam Aadmi Party hit back at the BJP for purposely criticising the poor and middle class youth of the country for seeking better employment opportunities by learning English language. AAP MLA & Chief Spokesperson Shri Saurabh Bhardwaj informed that today, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi went on TV criticising CM Arvind Kejriwal’s initiative to teach English to the youth of Delhi, while all the BJP leaders send their children to expensive private schools and colleges abroad.”
Terming the BJP’s antics to be a textbook example of hypocrisy Shri Saurabh Bhardwaj said, “BJP leaders send their children to English medium schools and foreign universities but tell the public that studying English will enslave them. BJP has a problem with children from poor families speaking in fluent English; this exposes the anti-poor mentality of BJP. BJP biggest ideologues Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Savarkar all studied in English medium schools and colleges. Sitting BJP ministers Smriti Irani,, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Hardeep Puri, Piyush Goyal, VK Singh all studied in top-class English schools, some in foreign universities too. Children of Rajnath Singh, S Jaishankar, Piyush Goyal, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Gajendra Shekhawat, Harshwardhan studying elite schools and colleges abroad; yet BJP wants the poor’s child to not study English. BJP wants to use the children of poor children to incite riots, they want them to stay unemployed. BJP wants to stop free education and healthcare so the poor remain suppressed even after 75 years of independence.”

He added, “BJP and RSS’s biggest ideologues are Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Savarkar. Savarkar completed his education from Fergusson College and Gray’s Inn, London. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya have studied in St. John’s School, Agra while Shyama Prasad Mukherjee studied in Lincoln School. Founder of the BJP Lal Krishna Advani studied in St. Patrick School, Karachi. It is bizarre that the BJP wants its workers and the poor of this country to remain away from English when its founders and pillars were students of private and convent English schools.”

He asserted, “I can give them a benefit of doubt that their parents enrolled them in an English school and they studied English without understanding its implication which they would have realised later. But this is not the case. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Deen Dayal Upadhayay have completed Post Graduation in English literature. It was a well-thought decision. I could have given the same benefit of doubt to the current BJP ministers whose names I took a while ago. They might have been enrolled in a private school by their parents and they learnt English but the reality is when it comes to sending their children to school, all of them are studying in English medium schools. There can be a few exceptions because of the unavailability of English schools in their locality but as much as I have researched, I could not find any. I want to ask the BJP about the number of ministers whose children study in English medium and the number of ministers whose children study in Hindi medium.”

He continued, “Smriti Irani’s daughter is also pursuing LLM from Georgetown University. And although Smriti Irani lied about her qualification in the past, she did not say that she completed her graduation from Vidyamandir but she lied that she completed her graduation from Yale University. She did not take the name of a Hindi University but a foreign one. Son and daughter of Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chief of Rightmost Ultrawing of BJP, study in the Doon School and Mayo Girls College respectively. Jyotiraditya Scindia’s son is pursuing MBA from Yale. The question arises why does not the BJP want children from poor families to not learn English. It is because they want the poor of the country to remain poor and their own workers to remain illiterate. They are not even faithful to their own workers because they are fooling them. They are asking them to send their children to Shishumandir and other hindi medium schools. They want their worker’s children to learn Sanskrit while they send their own children to foreign universities for degrees. They earlier sent their children to convent schools and their children speak fluent English. And they want to use the children of poor children to incite riots and they should remain unemployed for that purpose. This is a plot of BJP against the nation and their workers.”
