New Delhi, 19th February 2025: A powerful statement on women’s leadership in the public sector was made as the National Meet of the Forum of Women in Public Sector (WIPS), under the aegis of the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), was hosted in New Delhi. Centered around the inspiring theme “Create Your Own Sunshine,” the event brought together over 500 dynamic participants.
The meet was graced by Chief Guest Smt. Vijaya K. Rahatkar, Chairperson of the National Commission for Women, alongside Guest of Honour Shri Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE & Member, Governing Body, ILO. WIPS President Smt. Varsha Raut and other esteemed dignitaries were also present.
A major highlight of the event was the recognition of exceptional women professionals from Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs), with prestigious awards being conferred. The speakers passionately underscored the undeniable impact of women in shaping both the corporate landscape and the nation’s future, reinforcing that their contributions are not just valuable but indispensable.
