EIL and HPCL Forge Strategic Alliance for Energy Projects!
MoA Signed During India Energy Week 2025 to Accelerate Project Implementation

New Delhi, February 13, 2025: A significant step towards advancing India’s energy sector was taken as Engineers India Limited (EIL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) on February 13, 2025.
The agreement comes at a time when HPCL, currently under the temporary leadership of Mr. Rajneesh Narang as CMD (Additional charge), is awaiting the appointment of a new Chairman. The MoA was signed in the presence of Ms. Vartika Shukla, CMD of EIL, and Mr. Narang during the prestigious India Energy Week 2025 held in New Delhi from February 11-14.

The MoA establishes a comprehensive framework for the fast-track execution of engineering and consultancy projects in refineries, pipelines, petrochemicals, renewable energy, and marketing terminals. Special emphasis will also be given to the development of HPCL’s HP Green R&D Centre. The partnership is expected to further fortify the association between EIL and HPCL in both the hydrocarbon and renewable energy sectors.
EIL, a leading consultancy organization, is known for providing “total energy solutions for a sustainable future,” while HPCL continues to be a key player in refining crude oil and marketing petroleum products such as petrol, diesel, lubricants, and aviation fuel. This collaboration is anticipated to create significant strides in achieving India’s energy goals.
The MoA serves as a pivotal step in aligning the expertise of EIL and the operational strength of HPCL, ensuring efficient project delivery and sustainable growth in India’s energy landscape.
