DIPAM puts Disinvestment of HLL Life-Care on Fast Track

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has dismissed a plea challenging the disinvestment process of HLL Lifecare Ltd., a Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Health, Govt. Of India. The Apex Court said that it was a “Pure Issue of Policy”

HLL Lifecare is involved in manufacturing and marketing a range of hospital consumables, contraceptives etc. and had played a pivotal role during COVID-19 Pandemic.

It has been learnt from reliable sources that the proposal for Disinvestment is being actively pursued on a “Fast Track” basis by The Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) and is likely to be finalised within a Month.
