‘Bijli Utsav’ Organized by REC in Chhattisgarh
on the occasion of Bijli Utsav The event concluded with the distribution of LED bulbs to the beneficiaries

Recently organized the ‘Bijli Utsav’ in Temri village, Dharsiva block, Raipur District in Chhattisgarh as a part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations marking 75 years of Independence.
The event was graced by dignitaries such as Shri Rajendra Prasad, Chief Engineer (Projects), CSPDCL; Shri Ashok Khandelwal, Superintending Engineer, CSPDCL; Smt. Padmini Toman Lal Yadav, Sarpanch, village-Temri, and Shri Pradeep Fellows, Chief Program Manager, REC Limited https://recindia.nic.in RO-Raipur, along with other local representatives and officials of CSPDCL & REC Limited.

The event featured various sessions by esteemed guests and dignitaries, highlighting energy conservation, consumer rights, challenges faced during electrification in remote areas, and how access to power has improved the quality of life. Beneficiaries from the villages were also invited to share their experiences and views on how electricity had transformed their lives. The event concluded with the distribution of LED bulbs to the beneficiaries.
