Applications Invited for Appointment of Chairperson and Members of the Lokpal
The Search Committee, constituted under the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013, is inviting applications and nominations for the appointment of the Chairperson and Members of the Lokpal. The committee has extended the last date for receipt of applications/nominations to 13th October, 2023.
The Lokpal, an anti-corruption ombudsman, plays a vital role in ensuring transparency and accountability in public administration. It investigates corruption cases against public servants and takes appropriate action.
To be considered for the position, interested individuals are required to submit their applications or nominations in the prescribed proforma. The applications can be sent by post to the Chairperson, Search Committee, Post Box No. 12, GPO, New Delhi – 110001 or by email to “lokpalsearh-com[at]gov[dot]in” within the specified period.
